Laptop stands · OEM & private label
Laptop stand manufacturing aluminum, plastic and bamboo laptop stands under your brand
The laptop stand is the highest-volume item in most home office ranges — and the one where finish, hinge feel and packaging decide whether a listing gets reviews or returns. PlinthForge builds laptop stands for accessory brands, office product suppliers, corporate and promotional buyers, retailers, distributors and e-commerce sellers: fixed, height- and angle-adjustable, foldable portable and vertical stands in aluminum alloy, ABS / PC plastic, steel and bamboo or wood, with your logo, color and retail packaging. Need a whole workstation that moves up and down instead? That is a standing desk converter, a different product on its own page. For screens, see monitor stands.
- Fixed, adjustable, foldable, vertical and clamp-on laptop stands
- Aluminum alloy (anodized), ABS / PC, steel, bamboo and wood
- Laser-engraved, printed or debossed logo; retail-ready packaging
- Load capacity specified by you and verified on samples — none published here
Laptop stand types we build
- Fixed laptop stands — one-piece or two-piece aluminum or bamboo stands at a set height and angle; the clean desk look many brands lead with.
- Adjustable laptop stands — single- or multi-hinge (Z-shaped) arms with height and angle adjustment; hinge torque is specified and confirmed on samples.
- Foldable / portable laptop stands — collapsible aluminum or ABS stands that fold flat into a pouch, for travel and hybrid workers.
- Vertical laptop stands — upright holders for closed-lid (“clamshell”) setups, with adjustable or replaceable inserts for different laptop thicknesses.
- Stands with extras — integrated USB hubs, phone slots or cooling fans. Anything with electronics is a separate SKU with its own buyer-specified electrical and radio compliance testing (see compliance).
- Clamp-on laptop trays — trays on a desk clamp or monitor-arm pole, often sold next to monitor stands.
Materials and finishes
- Aluminum alloy — extruded or stamped aluminum, anodized in silver, space gray, black or custom colors, sandblasted or brushed; the usual choice for premium lines.
- ABS / PC plastic — molded stands for entry price points, promotional and corporate gift programs and lightweight travel stands.
- Steel — powder-coated steel for budget fixed stands and clamp-on trays.
- Bamboo and wood — bamboo, walnut or oak veneer stands with oil or lacquer finishes; certified material only where documented (see the FAQ).
- Contact pads — silicone or rubber anti-slip pads and hinge covers in matching or contrast colors.
Materials are compared in the specs guide.
Sizing, adjustment and fit
Each SKU is specified for the laptop range you sell: platform width and depth, front lip height, cable cut-outs, height and angle range (fixed or adjustable), folded size and net weight. Height and angle steps are set on a drawing and confirmed on pre-production samples. We do not publish load ratings: you tell us the load the stand has to carry and the test you will accept, and samples are verified to that — see load and stability.
Logo, color and packaging
- Laser engraving on anodized aluminum (crisp, permanent, no ink).
- Silk-screen or pad printing on plastic and powder-coated parts.
- Debossed or printed silicone pads for a subtle brand mark.
- Laser burning or printing on bamboo and wood.
- Packaging — printed color boxes, kraft boxes, foldable-stand pouches, gift boxes, barcodes and marketplace (e.g. FBA) labels.
Who buys laptop stands from us
Tech and home office accessory brands building a stand line; office product suppliers and dealers filling a catalog; corporate buyers and promotional / gifting agencies ordering logo stands for hybrid teams; retailers and distributors; and e-commerce sellers who need parcel-friendly packaging. Private label runs through OEM, stock models through wholesale. Many buyers bundle a stand with a desk mat, a keyboard wrist rest or webcam covers.
Compliance — buyer-specified, not claimed
Plain stands are mechanical products, but buyers still ask for material declarations and, for some channels, load or stability testing. Stands with USB hubs, fans or wireless charging also need electrical and radio-frequency compliance for your market. We claim no certifications, listings or test results on this site; testing at a third-party lab you choose or approve is available on request and quoted per SKU. Labels and claims are the brand owner’s responsibility.

Frequently asked questions
Aluminum or plastic — which laptop stand should my line use?
Many ranges carry both: aluminum for premium and corporate gift lines (anodized finish, laser-engraved logo), ABS / PC for entry price points, promotional programs and lightweight travel stands. Compare samples for finish and hinge feel before deciding.
Can you make an adjustable laptop stand with my own design?
Yes. Existing hinge platforms start fastest; a new shape or hinge needs new tooling and a drawing. Height and angle range, hinge torque, pads, color and logo are set per SKU and confirmed on samples.
Is a laptop stand the same as a standing desk converter?
No. A laptop stand raises a laptop on your desk; a standing desk converter is a sit-stand platform that lifts a whole workstation. We quote them as separate products.
What weight capacity do your stands and risers have?
We do not publish load ratings or weight-capacity figures on this site. Capacity depends on the exact design, material gauge, hinge or column, desk thickness and how the load sits on the product. You specify the load the SKU has to carry (for example the laptop, monitor or equipment it is sold for) and the test method your customer accepts; we build pre-production samples to that spec and you verify them — in-house or through third-party testing arranged on request. Any capacity printed on your packaging or listing must come from that verification and is the brand owner’s claim. See the load and stability section of our specs guide.
Is the bamboo or wood FSC certified?
We do not claim that any product on this site is FSC certified or made from certified material. If your channel requires certified wood or bamboo, say so in the RFQ: the quotation states whether certified material with chain-of-custody documentation can be sourced for that SKU and how it affects cost and lead time — and FSC wording or logos only go on packaging when that documentation exists for your order. Composite-wood rules (for example US formaldehyde emission requirements for MDF and plywood parts) and state warning-label rules are confirmed per SKU and per order.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on the tooling (an existing mold or extrusion vs. a new design), material and finish, colors, logo method, packaging and any buyer-specified testing; lead time depends on customization, sampling rounds, testing and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also the packaging & MOQ section of our specs guide.
