Monitor risers · OEM & private label
Monitor riser manufacturing desktop risers with storage, in wood, bamboo, metal and acrylic
A monitor riser is a low desktop platform — a shelf the screen sits on — that lifts the display a few inches and turns the space underneath into storage for a keyboard, notebooks or a laptop. It is simpler, cheaper and more decorative than an arm, and it doubles as a desk organizing piece. PlinthForge builds monitor risers for home office and stationery brands, office product suppliers, corporate gift buyers, retailers and e-commerce sellers: single and dual-length risers, risers with drawers or phone and pen slots, and foldable or stepped-height legs, in bamboo, wood, steel mesh, aluminum and acrylic. For height-adjustable arms and poles, see monitor stands.
- Single, dual-length and two-tier monitor risers
- Drawers, phone / tablet slots, pen trays and keyboard storage underneath
- Bamboo, wood, MDF, powder-coated steel mesh, aluminum, acrylic
- Fixed, foldable or stepped-height legs; load verified on samples
Monitor riser designs
- Single-shelf risers — a platform on two legs or a solid frame; the classic one-monitor riser.
- Dual-length risers — long platforms that span two monitors or a monitor plus laptop.
- Risers with drawers — one or two pull-out drawers under the shelf for stationery and cables.
- Risers with slots and trays — phone or tablet slots, pen trays and sticky-note wells built into the platform.
- Foldable and stepped-height risers — legs that fold flat for shipping or click into two or three heights.
- Risers with USB ports or wireless charging — quoted as a separate electronic SKU with buyer-specified electrical and radio compliance testing.
Materials and finishes
- Bamboo and solid wood — natural, carbonized or stained, with oil or lacquer; often paired with desk organizers in the same finish.
- MDF and plywood — veneered or painted; composite-wood emission rules for your market are confirmed per SKU.
- Powder-coated steel mesh — black, white or color metal risers, often with matching mesh accessories.
- Aluminum — anodized platforms matching aluminum laptop stands.
- Acrylic — clear or tinted risers for a minimal look.
Sizing and load
Platform length, depth and thickness, clearance underneath (so a keyboard or laptop slides in), leg style and height steps are set per SKU on the drawing. Anti-slip feet and edge finishing are chosen per material. We publish no load rating: you specify what the riser must carry and the test your customer accepts, and pre-production samples are verified to that — see load and stability.
Logo and packaging
Laser engraving or burning on bamboo and wood, silk-screen or pad print on metal and acrylic, metal or leather badges, and printed color or kraft boxes. Flat-pack designs keep cartons small for parcel shipping; barcodes and marketplace labels are applied per SKU. Risers are a common corporate gift and are often sold as a set with a desk mat.

We do not display certification or listing marks (such as BIFMA, FSC, ISO, UL / ETL, CE, FCC, RoHS or REACH), publish load ratings or weight capacities, test results, factory capacity or customer cases on this site. Frequently asked questions
Monitor riser or monitor stand — what is the difference?
A monitor riser is a low shelf the screen sits on, usually with storage underneath; a monitor stand holds the screen on a pole, base or arm with height, tilt and swivel adjustment. Risers are simpler and more decorative; stands are more adjustable.
Can a riser include drawers or a phone slot?
Yes — drawers, phone or tablet slots and pen trays are common options and are fixed on the drawing per SKU.
Can risers ship flat?
Many designs have foldable or screw-on legs so the carton stays small for parcel shipping; this is set per SKU.
What weight capacity do your stands and risers have?
We do not publish load ratings or weight-capacity figures on this site. Capacity depends on the exact design, material gauge, hinge or column, desk thickness and how the load sits on the product. You specify the load the SKU has to carry (for example the laptop, monitor or equipment it is sold for) and the test method your customer accepts; we build pre-production samples to that spec and you verify them — in-house or through third-party testing arranged on request. Any capacity printed on your packaging or listing must come from that verification and is the brand owner’s claim. See the load and stability section of our specs guide.
Is the bamboo or wood FSC certified?
We do not claim that any product on this site is FSC certified or made from certified material. If your channel requires certified wood or bamboo, say so in the RFQ: the quotation states whether certified material with chain-of-custody documentation can be sourced for that SKU and how it affects cost and lead time — and FSC wording or logos only go on packaging when that documentation exists for your order. Composite-wood rules (for example US formaldehyde emission requirements for MDF and plywood parts) and state warning-label rules are confirmed per SKU and per order.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on the tooling (an existing mold or extrusion vs. a new design), material and finish, colors, logo method, packaging and any buyer-specified testing; lead time depends on customization, sampling rounds, testing and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also the packaging & MOQ section of our specs guide.
