Monitor stands · OEM & wholesale
Monitor stand manufacturing single, dual and arm-style monitor stands built to your spec
A monitor stand holds the screen itself — on a weighted base, a desk clamp or a grommet mount — and lets the user set height, tilt, swivel and rotation. PlinthForge builds monitor stands for accessory and office furniture brands, office product suppliers, corporate buyers, retailers, distributors and e-commerce sellers: freestanding single and dual stands, clamp and grommet-mount stands and gas-spring or mechanical-spring monitor arms, with your color, logo and packaging. If you need a low desktop platform that a monitor sits on, see our separate monitor riser page.
- Freestanding, clamp-mount and grommet-mount monitor stands
- Single, dual and triple configurations; gas-spring and mechanical-spring arms
- Standard VESA-pattern mounting plates (e.g. 75 × 75 and 100 × 100 mm)
- Screen size and load range specified by you, verified on samples

Monitor stand types
- Freestanding monitor stands — a pole or column on a weighted steel base; no drilling or clamping, popular with renters and hot-desking offices.
- Clamp and grommet-mount monitor stands — a pole fixed with a C-clamp at the desk edge or through a grommet hole, with fixed or sliding arms.
- Gas-spring monitor arms — articulating arms with adjustable gas-spring tension for one-hand height adjustment.
- Mechanical-spring and fixed arms — lower-cost arms with tension or friction joints for set-and-forget installs.
- Dual and triple monitor stands — side-by-side, stacked or mixed layouts on one base or pole.
- Accessory trays — laptop trays and adapter plates that mount on the same pole; see laptop stands.
Mounting, adjustment and cable management
- Mounting plates — removable plates drilled to standard VESA hole patterns (75 × 75 and 100 × 100 mm are the common requests), with quick-release options. Hole pattern is a mounting spec — we do not claim VESA certification.
- Adjustment — height range, tilt, swivel and portrait / landscape rotation set per SKU on the drawing.
- Desk fixing — clamp opening and grommet size specified for the desk thicknesses you sell into.
- Cable management — clip-on covers or channels along the arm or pole; pair with an under-desk cable management tray.
Materials, finish and branding
Steel poles and bases, aluminum arms and joints, ABS / PC covers and cable clips; powder-coated or anodized in black, white, silver or custom colors. Logos go on the base, arm cover or clamp knob (pad print, laser engraving, metal badge), and on the printed box and instruction leaflet. Hardware kits, multilingual instructions and installation tools are packed per SKU.
Screen size, load and stability
Screen size range and the load each arm or base must carry are specified by you, together with the test your customer accepts. Gas springs, joints, base weight and clamp are chosen for that spec, and pre-production samples are verified before mass production — in-house or with third-party testing arranged on request. We publish no load ratings, cycle counts or stability results on this site; capacity printed on your packaging must come from that verification. See load and stability in the specs guide.

Office furniture and accessory brands; office product dealers and contract furnishers fitting out workstations; corporate IT and facilities buyers standardizing desks; retailers and distributors; e-commerce sellers. Private label runs through OEM, stock models through wholesale. For a low platform with storage underneath, see monitor risers.

No certifications, listings, ratings or test data claimed. We describe what each product is made of and how it can be customized. We do not display certification or listing marks (such as BIFMA, FSC, ISO, UL / ETL, CE, FCC, RoHS or REACH), publish load ratings or weight capacities, test results, factory capacity or customer cases on this site. Where your channel needs testing or documentation, it is buyer-specified and available on request — arranged per SKU at a third-party lab you choose or approve. No medical or health claims are made for ergonomic products, and no privacy or security guarantees for webcam covers. Labeling and claims are the brand owner’s responsibility.
Frequently asked questions
Freestanding stand or clamp-mount arm — which should I offer?
Freestanding stands need no clamping and suit renters and shared desks; clamp and grommet arms free up desk space and give more reach. Many lines offer both in single and dual versions.
Are your monitor stands VESA certified?
We build mounting plates to standard VESA hole patterns (75 × 75 and 100 × 100 mm are common requests), but we do not claim VESA certification or any other listing. If your channel needs it, tell us in the RFQ.
What is the difference between a monitor stand and a monitor riser?
A monitor stand holds the screen by its mounting plate on a pole, base or arm and adjusts it; a monitor riser is a low platform the monitor sits on, often with storage. We quote them as separate products.
What weight capacity do your stands and risers have?
We do not publish load ratings or weight-capacity figures on this site. Capacity depends on the exact design, material gauge, hinge or column, desk thickness and how the load sits on the product. You specify the load the SKU has to carry (for example the laptop, monitor or equipment it is sold for) and the test method your customer accepts; we build pre-production samples to that spec and you verify them — in-house or through third-party testing arranged on request. Any capacity printed on your packaging or listing must come from that verification and is the brand owner’s claim. See the load and stability section of our specs guide.
Are your products certified?
We do not claim any certification, listing or test result on this site — no BIFMA, FSC, ISO, UL / ETL, CE, RoHS, REACH or similar marks. Compliance belongs to a specific SKU, a specific market and a specific sales channel: tell us the destination market, the channel (office dealer, corporate procurement, retail, marketplace) and the standard, test or document your customer asks for, and the quotation sets out how it will be handled — typically third-party testing at a lab you choose or approve, on production samples, available on request and quoted per SKU. See the compliance section of our specs guide or ask on the inquiry form.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on the tooling (an existing mold or extrusion vs. a new design), material and finish, colors, logo method, packaging and any buyer-specified testing; lead time depends on customization, sampling rounds, testing and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also the packaging & MOQ section of our specs guide.
